METHOD FOR DETERMINING DYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS OF A BUILDING STRUCTURE

The proposed method for determining dynamic characteristics of a building structure consists in applying dynamic load to the structure to determine the frequency of the natural or forced vibrations, using the frequency values for correcting the gain of the vibration transducer for the structure in the frequency range that is lower that the resonance frequency of the transducer, repeatedly applying dynamic load to the structure, determining the vibrations of the structure by the output signals of the vibration transducer by using the corrected gain of the transducer, and determining the parameters that characterize the state and the load-carrying capacity of the structure. The advantage of the proposed method is its increased accuracy in determining dynamic characteristics of a building structure in the frequency range that is lower that the resonance frequency of the structure vibration transducer.
