PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the function of an optical encoder from being degraded due to brake lining worn chips or carbon powder adhering to an encoder light source part, with the optical encoder attached to a motor with a brake or a DC motor which generates brake lining worn chips. SOLUTION: A slit plate 20 is mounted in series to the rotating shaft of a motor and formed with a plurality of slits 21 at its peripheral part. A radial fan, constituted of a plurality of fins 22, is fitted at a disc part is proximity to the slits 21. The wind generated by a radial fan with the rotation of the slit plate 20 flows in the radial direction of the slit plate 20, so that it is possible to prevent the light source of the slit plate 21 part from being shut off. |
