A shock absorber of a vehicle is provided to taper a rubber bush by protruding a portion of the rubber bush opposite to a portion where a steel pipe expansion section is disposed. A shock absorber of a vehicle includes a cylinder(110), a housing(140), cylindrical eyes(150), a rubber bush, a steel pipe, and a fixing member. One end of a piston rod in the interior of which is installed a piston valve is inserted into the cylinder. The housing covers the upper side of the cylinder and the upper side of the piston rod. The cylindrical eyes are installed on the lower side of the cylinder and the housing respectively and are connected to the body and a wheel of the vehicle. Surface of the rubber bush which makes contact with the inner surfaces of the eyes are formed asymmetrically. A through-hole is formed at a central portion of the rubber bush. The steel pipe is inserted into the rubber bush. The steel pipe has an expansion section the inner diameter of one side of which is larger than that of the other side thereof. The fixing member is inserted into the expansion section of the steel pipe to engage the body and the wheel with the eyes.
