FIELD: manufacturing processes in machine engineering, possibly hardening parts of steels and alloys by surface plastic deforming. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes rotation drive unit, housing and percussion mechanism. Housing is provided with spring-loaded roller supports arranged in its lower part. Percussion mechanism is in the form of carrier with rigidly mounted axles. Radially arranged pins with dividing collars or plates with dividing collars or without them are jointly mounted on said axles by their one ends. Second contact ends of pins are spherical and second contact ends of plates are rounded along their lateral surfaces. ^ EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities, simplified design of apparatus, improved quality of treated surfaces. ^ 3 cl, 6 dwg |
