The fuel injector has a housing (1) with a piezo-actuator (7) in a recess (5), with one end against an actuator foot (12). There is a cavity (9) between the actuator and the recess wall, filled with fuel. The injector has a lamellar seal (20) on the actuator foot facing away from the cavity. A second seal is thus formed between the actuator foot and the cavity wall.
