A system and a method for providing a user interface are provided to generate a vibration signal easy to be recognized based on moving information of an object operated on a graphic screen by a user and based on surface information of other graphic objects, and transfer the generated vibration signal to the user through a user interface device. A storing module(190) stores a plurality of graphic objects and property information of each graphic object. A controlling module(130) receives the moving information of an interface graphic object representing the user among the graphic objects stored in the storing module from an interface device module(110), and provides frequency/amplitude information based on the moving/property information. A driving module(150) generates the vibration signal based on the frequency/amplitude information and transfers the vibration signal to the interface device module. The property information includes surface information and the moving information includes the information for a moving speed of the interface graphic object. The vibration signal is generated if the interface graphic object is placed on a virtual block of other graphic objects.
