PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breaker attachment method which can simply and securely fix a breaker, has advantage in terms of cost, and is capable of being fixed by either a simple fixing by an engagement or secure fixing with a screw. SOLUTION: The breaker 1 is provided with an engaging part 5, engageable with a fixing panel and a screw fixing part 7 having a screw hole 8. The breaker 1 is fixed to the fixing panel by selecting and positioning at a functional position either the engaging part 5 or the screw fixing part 7. The selection of the engaging part 5 or the screw-fixing part 7 is allowed, by providing the engaging part 5 on one side of a fixing piece 3, made of synthetic resin and the screw fixing part 7 on the other side thereof, and by rotatably providing the fixing piece 3 in a containing space 10.
