<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify whether a job is outputted normally before an output instruction. <P>SOLUTION: When the instruction of thumbnail display is inputted, a control unit reads thumbnail image data and print setting information from a storage (step SA1). The control unit reads each detection signal (state information), recognizes the situation of a print side, and determines whether a job corresponding to each thumbnail is performed normally (step SA2). When the determination of the step SA3 is "YES", the control unit displays the read thumbnail at a prescribed position of a display operation section (step SA5). When the determination of the step SA3 is "NO", the control unit replaces an original thumbnail with a thumbnail, where a character indicating the determined result is written (step SA4) for displaying at the position of the display operation section at which the original thumbnail is displayed (step SA5). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
