PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed change control unit of a toroidal type continuously-variable transmission capable of performing precise speed change by preventing or restraining an excessive offset of a power roller.

SOLUTION: In the speed change control unit of a toroidal type continuously-variable transmission in which the power roller clamped by a pair of disks is rotatably retained by a retaining member and the speed change is carried out by inclining the power roller so that the power roller is displaced together with the retaining member according to an amount of target displacement based on a speed change demand, the speed change control unit has target displaced amount limiting steps (steps S2 and S3) of limiting an amount of target displacement.
