<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly precisely and satisfactorily achieve power line signal carrying performance in a power system having a power converter. <P>SOLUTION: This power system is provided with a power converter 30 such as an inverter for performing power conversion by the switching of a semiconductor switching element and power equipment 10, 20, ... connected through a power line 40 to this power converter 30, and configured to perform communication by superimposing a signal on the power line between the power converter 30 and the other equipment.
