PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a self-luminous emitting display device, and an antireflection filter for use in the same capable of suppressing reflection of ambient light; to improve display contrast; and to reduce power consumption. SOLUTION: In the self-luminous emitting display device, provided with a self-luminous emitter 23 in which the display light is emitted from a display plate surface 21a, a polarizing layer 25 and a first polarized light conversion layer 27 are serially provided in the display light-emitting direction of a display plate 21. In the self-luminous emitting display device, the first polarized light conversion layer 27 converts the non-polarized light into either the P-polarized light or the S-polarized light, and a second polarized light conversion layer for converting the non-polarized light into the other of the P-polarized light and the S-polarized light may be provided between the display plate 21 and the polarizing layer 25.
