<p>Systems and methods for accessing images with natural language processing are provided. The methods for accessing images include linking an image with image-summarizing text by applying a hierarchical clustering algorithm to cluster one or more abstract sentences and one or more images, and linking an image with image-summarizing text if the abstract sentence belongs to a cluster that includes the image. The systems for accessing images include a natural language processor that applies a hierarchical clustering algorithm to link one or more abstract sentences in an article with one or more images in the article, and a user interface in which selecting image- summarizing text displays one or more linked images.</p> |
