PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide emulsion having high sensitivity, excellent in graininess and also having improved pressure characteristics and reciprocity law failure characteristics and a silver halide color photographic sensitive material using the emulsion. SOLUTION: The silver halide emulsion contains silver halide grains formed using an intergrain distance controlling method and subjected to reduction sensitization and a dispersion medium.
