HIGH-TEMPERATURE CONDUCTIVE ADHESIVE SHEET AND METHOD OF ITS USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive sheet and a method of its use, capable of highly reliably sticking a heating body and a heat dissipation member in a short time by strong adhesive force while securing electric insulation. SOLUTION: A thermally conductive adhesive sheet is obtained by polishing flatly a porous ceramics substrate having high thermal conductivity and electric insulation and uniformly and thinly applying thermoplastic resin thereon. The sheet is sandwiched between a heating body and a heat dissipation member, and is heated and pressurized at adequate temperature and pressure for proper time for adhesion. It is possible to stick the heating body and the heat dissipation member with low thermal resistance and strong adhesion force while securing electric insulation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
