PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively perform washing with heated water by utilizing a heating means for the drying function. SOLUTION: Air which is fed from an air blowing device 21 through a duct 31 on the side surface section of a water tub 5 is heated by a heater (heating means) 33 in the duct 31 to form hot air, and the hot air is fed to the inside of the water tub 5, and thus, laundry in the water tub 5 is dried. Then, at the time of washing, since water is fed to the inside of the water tub 5, the water is accumulated in the duct 31 as well. Therefore, by heating the water by the heater 33 which is provided in the duct 31 to form hot water, and in addition, the water in the water tub 5 is made hot water, and the washing of laundry can effectively be performed by the hot water.
