Method for removing and preventing the recurring formation of bio-films in water-transporting or -containing systems by production of biosurfactants from germs, comprises exposing the germs in a suspension at 10-90[deg]C for a time of 0.25-24 hours in the presence of a full metal catalyst with hydrogen peroxide-density gradient with in the range of 10000 to less than 1 ppm; and conducting the obtained biosurfactant-containing suspension without further addition of full metal catalyst and hydrogen peroxide into the water-transporting or -containing system at a concentration of 1-10000 ppm. Method for removing and preventing the recurring formation of bio-films in water-transporting or -containing systems by an upstream production of biosurfactants from germs and hydrogen peroxide in the presence of a full metal catalyst, comprises exposing the germs in a suspension with grater than 10 3> CFU (colony forming units)/ml, preferably greater than 10 6> CFU/ml, at 10-90[deg]C for a time of 0.25-24 hours in the presence of the full metal catalyst with hydrogen peroxide-density gradient with in the range of 10000-less than 1 ppm in such a manner that at the beginning of the reaction, the highest hydrogen peroxide concentration is present and at least 5 minutes before conclusion of the reaction, the hydrogen peroxide concentration is less than 1 ppm; and conducting the obtained biosurfactant-containing suspension without further addition of full metal catalyst and hydrogen peroxide in to the water-transporting or -containing system at a concentration of 1-10000 ppm.
