<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print inspection device for precisely and flexibly performing print inspection by removing an effect of an individual difference of a printer. <P>SOLUTION: A print inspection device 1 prepares a dictionary designating correspondence between character information of all characters pre-inputted from a print server 60 and possible to be printed in continuous forms by a printer 70 and a feature quantity of all characters printed in the continuous forms by the printer 70 and read by a main unit 10 to be computed by a processing unit 30, and determines whether or not the feature quantity of the characters which become an inspection object, read from the continuous forms and computed by the unit 30 is larger than a determination reference quantity that is set in advance for the feature quantity of characters associated by the dictionary while using correct information, concerning character strings pre-inputted from the print server 60 and being printed in the continuous forms by the printer 70, as an index. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
