<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal colloid-containing ink composition forming metallic gloss-bearing coating film hardly peeling off base material after drying at room temperature. <P>SOLUTION: The ink composition contains metal colloid particles that are obtained by reducing a metal compound in the presence of a polyethylene oxide chain-bearing polymeric pigment dispersant.
