<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker of which heating is continued only when the temperature of a cooking container can be detected by an infrared ray sensor. <P>SOLUTION: This induction heating device is provided with the infrared ray sensor for detecting infrared rays radiated from the cooking container via the top plate, and an illuminance sensor for detecting the illuminance in the surroundings where the cooking container is placed. When the cooking container is not detected by a cooking container detecting means for discriminating the presence or absence of the cooking container from energy received by the infrared ray sensor and the energy received by the illuminance sensor, a heating control means controls so as to stop the heating of the cooking container or suppress the amount of heating power. Therefore, the cooking container is prevented from becoming to have high temperature due to being unable to detect the temperature using the infrared ray sensor, and the induction heating device having high safety can be realized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
