PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor respective components of a game machine and to prevent the fraudulent exchange of a substrate or the like for instance. SOLUTION: The monitoring device is provided inside the game machine and an RFID is attached to the substrate or the like of the game machine. The readable range of the RFID of the monitoring device is wider than the game machine and overlaps with the readable range of the other monitoring device of an adjacent game machine. The monitoring device outputs abnormality signals when the RFID registered beforehand can not be read or when the information of the read RFID is not the one registered beforehand. By overlapping the readable range, even when the power of the game machine is turned off for instance, the adjacent monitoring device monitors the game machine whose power is turned off and reports abnormality instead of the game machine.
