PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit the actual dimensions of an object in content.

SOLUTION: In a content distribution apparatus 110, a generating part 112 generates content including image data acquired by an acquiring part 111 and actual dimension data about the dimensions of a plurality of objects in the image data, and a transmitting part 113 transmits the generated content. In this display device 120, a receiving part 122 receives the transmitted content from an external device, and a display control part 124 displays an image whose display magnification is adjusted so as to allow a designation object designated by an accepting part 123 in the actual dimension data included in the content received by the receiving part 122 to be a full scale on a display screen of a display part 121 when the accepting part 123 accepts the designation of the object in the image data included in the received content.
