PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hose of high quality free from appearance failure or the lowering of properties by preventing the shift of the second layer of two reinforcing layers knitted in a spiral form at the time of production. SOLUTION: An inner surface layer 12 comprising an unvulcanized rubber having a plurality of protrusions 34 is extruded and first reinforcing yarn 14A is spirally wound around the outer periphery of the inner surface layer 12 to form a first reinforcing layer 14. The protrusions 34 are protruded to the outside of the first reinforcing layer 14 at the parts not pushed by the first reinforcing yarn 14A of the protrusions 34. Next, second reinforcing yarn 16A is spirally wound around the outer periphery of the first reinforcing layer 14 to form a second reinforcing layer 16 and an unvulcanized rubber is extruded to the second reinforcing layer 16 to form an outer surface layer 18. Since the second reinforcing layer 16 receives force by the discharge pressure of the unvulcanized rubber but is in contact with the protrusions 34 protruded from the first reinforcing layer 14, the shift of the second reinforcing layer 16 is prevented and the hose 10 of high quality is obtained.
