PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading device capable of consistently conveying a roll film, and performing the optical reading of the roll film. SOLUTION: A roll film feed means 23 is attached to a film feed unit 22, and a roll film storage means 25 is attached to a film delivery unit 24. The roll film feed means 23 and the roll film storage means 25 have a deflection detection means and a speed detection means of a roll film R, and control the feed rate and the winding rate of the roll film R according to the degree of deflection of the roll film R.
