PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a straddle carrier, interchangeable all the time in use, and being an examination object in its purchase even in a small company, by being easily transportable by being put in a container. SOLUTION: This straddle carrier 1 consists of a chassis with a mobile and controllable tire carrier 3 composed of two mainly parallel longitudinal girders 4 on wheels and a height-adjustable frame 6 provided on the carrier, and has a means 7 for lifting a loading cargo 8, and is formed in a dimension adjustable or folded up widthwise, capable of narrowing or folding up the chassis widthwise, easily transportable when lowering the frame 6 and preferably fittable in the container 42.
