An electrodeless discharge lamp apparatus is provided to concentrate uniformly microwaves onto a bulb by forming a dielectric with a shape of ring and installing the dielectric at a resonator in order to surround the bulb. An electrodeless discharge lamp apparatus includes a resonator(119), a bulb(107), and a dielectric(200). The bulb is installed inside the bulb. The dielectric is arranged between the bulb and the resonator. The dielectric is formed with a shape of ring and is installed at the resonator in order to surround the bulb. The dielectric is formed of ceramic. An insertion hole is formed in the ring. A supporting frame includes one end inserted into the insertion hole and the other end installed at the resonator in order to connect the ring and the resonator with each other.
