Method of controlling the ratio of the amplification factors of two linear amplifiers, and corresponding device

The device has a main circuit (CIP) including two main linear amplifiers (AP1, AP2) having amplification factors respectively controllable by two main control voltages (Vcde1, Vcde2). The amplifiers are adapted to receive two input signals and two output signals, where the level of input signals are in a specified division ratio. A control unit (MC) adjusts the value of one of control voltages in order to equalize the output signals so that the amplification factors are in the same ratio. An independent claim is also included for a method of controlling a ratio of amplification factors of controllable linear amplifiers.
