Provided is a detachable putting training aid, in which a golf ball holder is attached to the front or the rear face of a putter and a golf ball is inserted into the golf ball holder for putting practice, whereby a user is able to easily learn an accurate putting posture by making the golf ball go in an accurate direction. The putting training aid(1) comprises a mounting piece(3) connected to a cylinder-shaped golf ball holder(2), and an attaching unit made out of a magnet(4) for example for attaching the golf ball holder(2) and the mounting piece(3) to a putter. The golf ball holder(2) comprises a steel wire(6) that is installed in the same direction as the putting direction on the top of the golf ball holder(2) to prevent a golf ball from escaping during high-speed putting and thus to help a golfer recognize an accurate putting direction.
