A vacuum cleaner is provided to reduce noise by making a discharge passage long from a motor room to a discharge port. A vacuum cleaner includes a body(10), a dust collecting unit(20), a blowing fan unit(30), a discharge passage(16), and an exhaust port(15). The body forms the appearance of the vacuum cleaner. The dust collecting unit is provided in the interior of the body to filter foreign substances. The blowing fan unit includes a blowing fan and a motor to generate a suction force in the dust collecting unit. The discharge passage guides the air discharged from the blowing fan unit. The discharge member is provided on both sides of the rear side of the body so that the air guided through the discharge passage can be divided into two branches and can be discharged.
