A method for joining a liner of a cylinder block using low pressure casting is provided to reduce a process according to setting of the liner by molding the cylinder block by low pressure casting. A method for joining a liner of a cylinder block using low pressure casting comprises several steps; disposing a water jacket core(5) between an upper mold(1) with bore pins(4) and a lower mold(2) having side molds(3) placed on an upper portion thereof; joining a liner(6) inserted into the core with front ends of the bore pins; lowering the upper mold to the lower mold side to mold a cylinder block; ejecting the molded cylinder block from the molds, a method for joining the liner of the cylinder block using low pressure casting and simultaneously inserting the liner into the core and performing sand blowing in a state that the bottom of the liner is sealed with a sand core.
