SHOCK ABSORBING MATERIAL AND VEHICLE BUMPER

Material of absorbing shock and a vehicle bumper formed by the material of absorbing shock are provided to protect impact effectively and to protect pedestrians from impact of the vehicle. A shock absorbing material includes a base unit(2) and lips(3a, 3b). The base unit comprises a front surface(5a) and a rear surface which are extended to a longitudinal direction of and opposed to the shock absorbing material, and a top surface and a below surface which are connected to the front surface and the rear surface and opposed to the shock absorbing material. The top lip and the below lip extends to a upper and a lower free section(4a, 4b) from the front surface of the base unit. The top and the below lip are extended to the longitudinal direction and are isolated each other vertically. The top and the below lip have an external surface(41a) respectively which are met with the top and a below surface so that the shock absorbing material has a section of U-shape.
