A display apparatus is provided to transmit a parity signal from a data supplying member and to sense a connection state by the parity signal at an error sensing member in a control member. A display panel displays an image. A data supplying member(200) converts the image signal from the outside into the digital signal and outputs a parity signal. A connection cable(400) transmits the converted image signal to the display panel. A display control member(300) is connected with the data supplying member through the connection cable and transmits a sensing signal to the data supplying member in response to the parity signal. The sensing signal represents the connection state of the data supplying member by the connection cable. The connection cable includes plural connection lines.
