<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an easy-to-remove protector applied to the wiring harness for automobile. <P>SOLUTION: A substantially tubular protector 1 for inserting a wiring harness 10 comprises a hinge 5 continuous from one end 1a to the other end 1b, and a mechanism 9 for breaking that hinge 5. The breaking mechanism 9 comprises a planar cutter 11 and a doughnut-like link 12.
