PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance ice making rate at an ice making part outlet, by preventing supercooled water from flowing out of the outlet, as it is, to cause high degree of residual supercooling, and prevent residual supercooled water from causing ice to be adhered and deposited inside iced water piping, and to clog the piping by making release of supercooling carried out surely. SOLUTION: Supercooled water is introduced in the horizontal direction and tangential direction in the lower part of a vertical cylindrical housing. Ice, produced as the supercooling while being released by a swirl is collected close to the cylinder axis. The supercooled water and ice are force-fed in a jet into a center part of the cylindrical housing from a nozzle positioned about the cylinder axis over the lower part, and the jet flows in the vertical direction by convection at the center part to release the supercooling of the residual supercooled water.
