METHOD FOR PREVENTING THE DISPATCH OF THE DUAL MULTICAST STREAM

A method preventing the dispatch of the dual multicast stream. The STB constructs and sends the IGMP Leave message based on the information saved in itself, when it starts working. DSLAM stops sending the multicast stream corresponding to the IGMP Leave message, when it receives the IGMP Leave message from the STB. The stopping of the delivering multicast stream can be realized by both of the IP STB and the apparatus of the network side.
