<p>An explosive composition comprising: a liquid oxidant; a fuel comprising particles of energetic material homogeneously distributed throughout the liquid oxidant, wherein the energetic material is capable of reacting with the liquid oxidant at elevated temperature to release energy, and wherein the particles of energetic material comprise shock-sensitive particles for which reaction between the energetic material and liquid oxidant can be shock initiated and secondary-initiation particles for which reaction between the energetic material and the liquid oxidant can be initiated by energy released as a result of reaction of the shock-sensitive particles and the liquid oxidant.</p> |
