PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct the deviation of an exposure amount changing in accordance with the state of an image blurring correcting means, and to impart the optimum exposure amount. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: the image blurring correcting means for optically correcting the image blurring in accordance with the output of a shake detecting means for detecting a shake; a state detecting means for detecting the state of the image blurring correcting means; an exposure condition determining means (step 111) for determining the exposure condition based on photometry results; and an exposure condition correcting means (step 112) for correcting the exposure condition in accordance with the state of the image blurring correcting means.
