The receiver (6) antenna system (1) comprises antennas (2.1 to 2.n). At least one antenna (2.1) is associated with a spatially-separated, supplementary antenna (3.1). Its received signal (Z1) is summed with the received signal (E1) of a subject receiving antenna, to form a summation signal (SS1). The signal received by the supplementary antenna is smaller than that received by the subject antenna (2.1). Each of several reception antennas has a spatially-separated supplementary antenna. An independent claim is included for the corresponding antenna system.
