<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting tool for carrying a mobile phone or the like which facilitates quick speech of an incoming call, a key operation or an imaging operation holding the mobile phone in hand and extending the arm, prevents the mobile phone from being wobbled even during a walk or in a stooping action and attains safety so as not to drop the mobile phone even when operating or holding. <P>SOLUTION: A supporting tool 1 for carrying a mobile phone or the like is comprised of a hanging clip 2; a hanging strap 3 whose one side is attached to the hanging clip 2; a carried article holding part 4 provided on other side of the hanging strap 3; a hook and loop fastener 10 provided on a front side of the carried article holding part 4; and a drop preventive part 8 comprised of an extension strap portion provided by further extending the hanging strap 3 by making a knot 6 and including a cord 7 that is a carried article mounting means, at a distal end thereof. A full length of the supporting tool 1 for carrying the mobile phone or the like from the hanging clip to the distal end of the cord is about 40cm.
