A full complement roller bearing assembly comprises a resilient washer with a radial flange 16 confined by means on shell 23, and an axial lip 17 supporting roller trunnions prior to mounting of the assembly. In Fig. 4, flange 16 extends between radial flanges 25, 26 on the shell 23 and is joined by circumferentially spaced struts to portion 13 which is spaced by a running clearance from shaft 9. An annular channel 18 provides a clearance between washer and trunnion ends. Slots 20 between the struts allow insertion, of lubricant. The washer is of plastics material. In Fig. 6 (not shown),' washer (33) has no slots and is a press-fit on shaft (48) thus acting as a seal. |
