<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate, without complex arithmetic processing, an amount of correction made to highly accurately correct a displacement, while simultaneously coping with the registration displacement of each of a plurality of exposure scanning parts and a registration displacement due to an error in fitting of the exposure scanning parts. <P>SOLUTION: An amount of correction of the registration displacement of each of the exposure scanning parts is calculated by a first calculating means. An amount of correction of the registration displacement of the exposure scanning parts fitted together is calculated by a second calculating means. A composite means composes the amount of correction calculated by the first calculating means and the amount of correction calculated by the second calculating means.
