PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and small motor driven compressor with a power smoothing capacitor whose heat radiation is accelerated. SOLUTION: A compression part 19 for compressing refrigerant and an electric motor 35 for driving the compression part are stored in a common housing 15, The common housing has a suction housing 13 for introducing the refrigerant to the compression part.
