METHOD FOR SEARCHING SITUATION OF MOVING PICTURE AND SYSTEM USING THE SAME

A moving picture scene search method and system which can search the entire moving picture for a particular scene is provided. The moving picture scene search method includes: receiving a keyword from a user, the keyword including a scene search keyword; identifying the scene search keyword and utilizing the keyword to search for the moving picture scene; searching a scene search database, which stores scripts indicating a content feature of a scene moving picture, by using a query that is generated from the keyword, the scene moving picture corresponding to a portion of the entire moving picture which is divided into content-based units; and providing search results about a scene moving picture corresponding to scripts that match the query. Accordingly, it is possible to effectively search the entire moving picture for a desired scene using a keyword about a content of the moving picture.
