A system for providing information by using an electronic tag is provided to enable a user to use various location-based content service and location information without a device, such as a GPS, capable of checking an absolute location by using electronic survey tags having high precision and reliability. Each electronic tag part(10) is equipped with the electronic tag storing unique information. An electronic tag reader(20) reads necessary information from the electronic tag part. A server(30) receives the electronic tag information from the electronic tag reader and transmits the information requested from the electronic tag reader to the electronic tag reader. The unique information of the electronic tag is the location information including coordinates or address information of the electronic tag, or ID information of the electronic tag. The information is required in the electronic tag reader is the location information of the user or an object, or mobile content information requested from the user.
