An active head rest for vehicle is provided to securely perform function of an active headrest to effectively prevent the neck of a passenger from being injured. An active head rest for vehicle includes a seat cushion to support the passenger, a seat back connected to the seat cushion to support the back of the passenger, and a headrest coupled with the upper end of the seat back to adjust height and to support the head of the passenger. Here, the seat back includes a back frame(21) installed in the seat back to support the seat back, and the back frame includes a guide bracket installed to the upper front side of the back frame to guide the vertical movement of headrest stays. The guide bracket is inclined by 5 degrees toward the passenger with respect to the back frame so that the headrest moves toward the head of the passenger at the vehicle collision. The lower end of the headrest stays are coupled with an active headrest driving device. The active headrest driving device includes a base plate, a lower end link, a pair of rotating arms, an upper end link, and stay moving bracket(47). |
