A scanning device is provided to improve exiting problems such as the degradation of image quality, the waste of a developer, and light exposure by blocking the exposure of a scan unit generated through a non-image region by using a shutter member. A scanner body(10) has a copy holder(11). A scan unit(20) scans documents laid on the copy holder(11). A cover(30) is installed in the scanner body(10) to open and close the copy holder(11). A shutter member(40) is foldably installed in an edge of the cover(30) to cover a gap between the copy holder(11) and the cover(30).
