The head has an appropriate cleaning plate (13) for cleaning and rotated in a plane parallel to a cleaning surface e.g. skin, where actuation of a rotational system is carried out by an impeller (7) that is driven by a shower-and/or cleaning water. A spindle bearing (2) of the rotating cleaning plate is protected from the cleaning fluid e.g. water, by a perfectly-fitted shield (5). The cleaning plate is provided with a sponge alternative to cleaning fibers (14).
