A machine tool has a high-speed tool interface with a cooling system. The cooling system has a cylindrical adapter (21) for the supply and discharge of coolant. One end of the adapter has a screw-lock coolant delivery fitting (17) that locates within a socket (16) at one end. The other end has a bayonet socket (12) for a push-fit locking key (14).
