PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical disk playback device capable of performing playback by rapidly selecting voice output matched to a playback environment of a user and rapidly selecting a voice stream matched to voice output designated by a user. SOLUTION: In the optical disk playback device, a system controller 7 checking whether a voice code or a channel number is set by a user and giving user's setting preference when the voice code or the channel number is set by the user and a decoder 12 including a voice selection part 13 performing switching of voices based on the output of the system controller 7 are provided. In the system controller 7, whether the voice code or the channel number is set by the user is checked and when the voice code or the channel number is not set by the user, the user can designate the voice code or the channel number even after voice is outputted.
