<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onboard display apparatus for operating a function for inputting directions without gazing at a screen. <P>SOLUTION: The onboard display apparatus 100 having a function for inputting directions is provided with a coordinate input section 1 for inputting a two-dimensional coordinate information by touch operation, and direction input sections 2-5 for inputting directions which are arranged on frame members surrounding the coordinate input section 1. Each of the direction input sections 2-5 is arranged on a frame member 2-5 which is along a prescribed direction with respect to the center of the coordinate input section 1. When an input is made, a function related to the input direction is executed by determining the input for the corresponding direction.
