<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the degradation of cycle characteristics of a nonaqueous electrolyte battery with an open circuit voltage within a range of 4.30 V and 4.55 V inclusive at a completely charged state per pair of cathode and an anode. <P>SOLUTION: The battery is provided with a wound-around electrode body 20 composed of a cathode 2, an anode 3, and a separator 4, and an electrolyte solution containing vinylene carbonate with an open circuit voltage within a range 4.30 V and 4.55 V inclusive at a completely charged state per pair of the cathode and the anode. A volume of the electrolyte solution is within a range of 80% to 95% against that of a saturated electrolyte solution saturated and absorbed into the wound-around electrode body 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
